Coriander press cake
Coriander press cake is a by-product of coriander seed processing that remains after the oil fraction has been extracted. It retains protein, fibre, minerals and part of the residual oil, which makes it of interest as a secondary plant raw material for feed and agro-industrial applications.
The most obvious direction is use in feed formulations after assessing the actual composition of the batch. For the technologist, moisture, protein, fibre, fat, ash and mineral content matter, since these indicators determine nutritional value and the permissible inclusion level.
Commercially, coriander press cake allows processed raw material to be used in full and turns a by-product stream into a separate B2B product. The most promising buyers are compound feed plants, agricultural producers and traders in plant-based feed components.
