Coriander, seed

Essential oils

Coriander seed essential oil is a linalool-type oil with soft spice, citrus freshness and light woody-floral shades. Compared with oil from the green mass it is considerably calmer and rounder, which makes it a convenient ingredient for a wide range of formulas.

In the flavour industry the oil is valued for its ability to deliver clean coriander spice without plant particles. It is used in meat and sausage seasoning systems, sauces, marinades, bakery, beverages and complex spice blends. The concentrated liquid form is convenient for industrial dosing and taste standardisation.

In perfumery coriander oil adds a light spicy-citrus note and links citrus, aromatic and woody components well. In cosmetics it suits soap, body products, hair care and natural fragrance products with a spicy or unisex positioning.

For a flavour manufacturer this is a functional workhorse: a clear profile, broad compatibility and the option to use one material across savoury, fragrance and personal-care directions. For the buyer, linalool content and the stability of the chromatographic profile matter most.
