Cornflower hydrosol
Cornflower hydrosol is a gentle aromatic water with a delicate green-floral profile and a very understated scent. It suits formulations where the manufacturer needs a natural botanical water phase without the intensity of an essential oil and without having to mask a strong fragrance.
Its most natural field of application is facial and eye-area cosmetics: tonics, mists, water serums, masks and cleansing products with botanical positioning. Cornflower fits well into delicate, floral, minimal and «meadow plant» concepts.
For the developer the hydrosol is convenient because it simultaneously serves as a technological water base and supports the product’s natural-origin story. Commercially it is a particularly attractive item for brands looking for an ingredient less common than rose or lavender.
