Lavender
Lavender essential oil is one of the most versatile items for perfumery and cosmetic development. Its aroma combines a clean floral note, soft herbaceousness and a light woody-balsamic base. This layering allows the oil to work both as a recognisable accent in its own right and as a component that makes a composition more coherent and balanced.
For perfumers lavender is particularly valuable: it links citrus top notes to a woody base, softens sharp green and camphoraceous shades and helps give a formula a sense of naturalness. In functional perfumery this profile is in demand in clean, wellness, linen and spa concepts.
In cosmetics the oil fits naturally into creams, lotions, bath products, soap, body and hair care. For the home-care and home-fragrance segment lavender remains a note consumers immediately understand — for laundry products and for scenting textiles and interiors. Food use is possible for oil of the appropriate quality, above all in botanical beverages, confectionery and specialist flavour development.
